Example: "Hi [Name], this is [Staff Name] with WAir Aviation. Looks like Tuesday doesn't work — are you free Thursday afternoon instead? Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messaging from WAir Aviation at any time."

These messages are typed and sent individually by our staff in direct response to you — for example, coordinating a reschedule for a flight lesson, confirming your aircraft is ready for pickup from maintenance, or answering a question about flight training, maintenance, or charter services. We do not send automated appointment reminders, marketing, or promotional messages by SMS; appointment reminders are sent by email.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency may vary. Because messages are only sent in direct response to an active conversation with our staff, the number you receive depends on your specific inquiry — typically a small number of messages while coordinating something like a reschedule or a maintenance pickup.

4. Potential Fees for SMS Messaging

Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier's pricing plan. These fees may vary if a message is sent domestically or internationally.

5. Opt-In Method

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from WAir Aviation in the following ways:

  • By submitting our website Contact Us form and checking the SMS consent box

  • By texting us first at (847) 773-1382

  • By completing our paper customer intake form and checking the SMS consent box

6. Opt-Out Method

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time. To do so, reply STOP to any message you receive. Alternatively, you can contact us directly at (847) 773-1382 to request removal from our messaging list.
